The main research and development directions of the institute are artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technology, smart manufacturing technology, etc. We cooperate with enterprises to develop and research four major themes, including “AI Audio and Video Signal Analysis and Recognition”, “Educational Applications”, “Intelligent Robotics” and “AI Digital Power Control”, “Autonomous Vehicle Perception” to jointly cultivate talents needed for industrial practice. In addition, through the industry-university cooperation mechanism, we can jointly develop innovative application services related to artificial intelligence with enterprises, and accelerate the incubation of AIoT overall solutions to enter the international market.
The goal of this institute is to deepen research, upgrade industrial technology, integrate resources in different professional fields, and develop new opportunities for technology. The teaching and research fields of this institute include: deep learning, artificial intelligence system platform, image processing and analysis, computer vision, natural language processing, smart display technology, smart Internet of Things technology, smart manufacturing technology, smart robot, etc. The characteristics of the course focus on the industrial link, employ experts in the field of artificial intelligence application from domestic and foreign research institutions and enterprises to participate in the teaching, implement the integration of learning and application, and solve the gap between learning and application.
